Voice Movement Immersion

A home for voice-led transformation, cultural memory, and ritual performance

Voice Movement Immersion is the creative practice space and company founded by British vocalist, composer, and sonic archaeologist Randolph Matthews.
It exists to explore the voice as a tool for ancestral memory, emotional reconnection, artistic ritual, and deep personal transformation.

Through performance, storytelling, movement, and breath work, Voice Movement Immersion develops original frameworks that combine soulful artistry with cultural depth inviting others to re-enter their own story through sound.

What We Hold

Voice Movement Immersion is the evolving home of several core practices and creative projects developed by Randolph Matthews, including:

  • BlackSalt
A ritual performance framework reclaiming Black maritime memory through ancestral sound, rope, silence, and embodied storytelling.
Presented in performance, workshop, and heritage settings. (Currently in active development)

  • The Daily Shift

A self-guided practice journey exploring body, breath, and subtle voicework for quiet leaders and expressive souls.
Originally launched as a beta experience now evolving into a full immersive format. (In refinement phase)

These projects sit within the wider methodology of Voice Movement Immersion and reflect its commitment to cultural remembering, creative healing, and soul-rooted leadership.

Our Mission

To awaken the deep intelligence of the voice.
To reanimate memory through sound.
To shift presence through breath, ritual, and creative truth.
To help others return fully to themselves.
